Hawaii Parkour is an educational fitness organization, dedicated to sharing the healthy movement and risk-assement strategies that Parkour training can provide.
Parkour practicioners believe that you don’t technically need any equipment to start training parkour – some people even train with bare feet! By that logic, money shouldn’t be a barrier either, so Hawaii Parkour will start offering movement classes for FREE, 4pm at Makiki District Park, every 1st and 3rd Saturday of the month.
These sessions will focus on mobility, flexibility and strength building, as well as fall prevention and balance training. While not a full parkour class, we will engage in partner games and group problem solving of physical challenges! It’s a fun workout but mostly its fun engagement with other people who’d like to explore and play in their environment.
